Terms & Conditions

By booking our accommodation, the purchaser (‘you’) agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Cookery Studio Barn (‘we’).

Your Booking:

We reserve the right to accept or decline bookings entirely at our discretion. 

You, as the person making the booking, will be responsible for all members of your party. You, as the person in charge of your party, must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking. Children aged 14 years and over are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. We are sorry but the barn and grounds are not suitable for dogs or pets.

We can only dicuss your booking with you.

It is a condition of your booking that you obtain appropriate travel insurance for all members of your group. This should cover illness, cancellation and injuries during your stay.

Paying for your Accommodation:

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost will be required to be paid by bank transfer to secure the booking. The balance to be paid by no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival.

If the booking is made less than 4 weeks prior to arrival, the full cost must be paid at the time of booking. 

All confirmation of bookings are sent by email: we will not pass on any of your contact details to a third party.

Practical Information

Check in should be between 3.30pm and 7pm on the first day of your stay. Check out is required before 11am on the last day of your stay. If you do not leave the accommodation by the required departure time we reserve the right to charge you for an additional night.

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non-refundable.

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking you must let us know by email as soon as possible and, in any event, prior to the first day of your booking.

If you cancel between 28-14 days prior to the booking start date, a cancellation charge of 50% of the balance will apply.

If you cancel between 14 days and the booking start date, a cancellation charge of 100% of the balance will apply.

Visitors Standards and Behaviour

You will be provided with a Welcome folder that contains important information about your stay with us. Please ensure that you and your party read the folder carefully on arrival. You must also ensure that you familiarise yourself with the layout of the accommodation and the location of the fire exit.

You must only use the accommodation for holiday (not business) purposes.

You must keep the accommodation clean and tidy and leave them in the same condition as when you arrived.

You must not use the accommodation for any dangerous, offensive, noisy, illegal or immoral activities. You must not cause any nuisance or annoyance to any neighbours .

Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted in any part of the accommodation. You must not use ay candles, fireworks or chinese lanterns.

Maximum occupancy is limited to 4 persons.

Damage to the Accommodation or its Contents

If you discover on arrival that anything is missing or damaged you must notify us immediately, otherwise we will assume that you caused the relevant damage or loss. You will be responsible for the cost of any damage to the accommodation or its contents caused by you or any member of your party.


You should be aware of the nature and style of the building with its over-head beams, open-tread stairs, etc. We cannot accept responsibility for any consequential personal accidents on the premises.

We will not accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to any personal possessions that you bring with you.




 We reserve the right to evict you if you breach any of these terms and conditions.
