Love Christmas but sometimes find it overwhelming? This course is designed to guide you through the ‘art’ of preparing ahead and creating festive dishes and edible gifts to share with your friends and family so that you can enjoy your own stress-free Christmas. Just to whet your appetite - our selection of dishes can be made ahead of the big day, are stylish and several of them will make impressive Christmas gifts…

Discover how to prepare for Christmas well ahead of time, with lots of hints and tips to make advanced preparation easier so that you can share quality time with family and friends! On this class you will create festive dishes and 'nibbles' with a twist, using the finest seasonal ingredients. 

This sample menu will show you how to:

  • 'Get Ahead' and save time by preserving a selection of dishes - all of which can be stored or frozen ahead of the big day!

  • Enjoy a delicious taste of Eggnog

  • Make your own Christmas preserve such as a Zingy Cranberry & Orange Relish to accompany your chosen 'bird' 
  • Learn the art of producing a light, but delicious boned, stuffed Easy-carve bird for roasting as an alternative to the traditional Christmas Turkey 

  • Prepare ahead a delicious, sticky Christmas Fruit & Pecan Pudding with Orange & Cointreau Butterscotch Sauce

  • Prepare & Bake a selection of Cranberry & Pistachio Biscotti as a delightful sweet accompaniment or impressive Christmas gift for a special friend!

We invite you to join us at 9.30am for coffee where you will meet other class members and your chef. We will talk you through the class menu and how the day will run before you move through to our purpose designed kitchen, surrounded by the beautiful Oast gardens. With small classes of around 8 people, the step-by-step tuition is fun and easy to follow as you are supported by the cookery studio team. A light lunch will be served - with a seasonal glass of wine - part way through the day. You will prepare and take home the dishes you make and you will receive a recipe booklet to take away with you. Please note that the dishes listed may vary due to the availability of fresh produce.
