Authentic Mexican cooking is full of textures, colours and vibrant flavours, with its tastes of chilli, peppers, coriander and chocolate which suit our modern palate so well. Wonderful for summer meals in the garden!! With our strong Mexican family connections we would love to share with you some of the recipes and cooking ideas we have discovered on our travels...

  • Cook a range of dishes, street food, sauces and salsas from scratch
  • Using authentic recipes, learn the differences between Tortillas, Tacos, Tostadas and much more...
  • Sample the classic Mexican combination of Chocolate and Chilli

Some of the dishes on our Sample menu -

  • Sopa de Frijol Negro Spicy Black Bean Soup / Avocado Soup
  • Sauces and Pickles such as Salsa Verde / Salsa Cruda / Guacamole / Red Pepper Mole
  • Tostadas de Frijol (Beans)
  • Spicy Chicken & Tortilla stack / Adobo Rojo de Cerdo Pulled Pork with red pepper sauce  / Escabeche
  • Churros with Chocolate & a hint of Chilli / Dulce de Leche

This Mexican day should be a Fiesta. You will enjoy some of the food you cook for lunch and have some goodies to take home with you too.  

We invite you to join us at 9.30am for coffee where you will meet other course members and your chef. We will talk you through the class menu and how the day will run before you move through to our purpose designed kitchen, surrounded by the beautiful Oast gardens. With small classes of around 8 people, the step-by-step tuition is fun and easy to follow as you are supported by the Cookery Studio team.
