Discover the secrets of great Italian cuisine and traditional recipes. As well as learning to make dishes such as fresh pasta or gnocchi, the menu will include simple but delicious starters; ideas for seasonal main courses, 'al fresco' entertaining and irresistible ‘dolce’ desserts.

On our 'Italia, Italia!' class, you will:

  • Discover and perfect classic recipes and dishes to extend your Italian repertoire.
  • Create delicious antipasti such as bean & garlic dip, Genoese pesto, aioli or tapenade.
  • Learn to make hand-made pasta from scratch, shaped and filled with classic ingredients such as ricotta, funghi, limone, or gorgonzola
  • Prepare an authentic Salsa di Pomodoro and taste the delights of a Salsa di Noce
  • Learn to make a typical Italian Focaccia sharing bread with garlic and rosemary or sun dried tomatoes
  • Learn the simplicity of making an Italian dessert such as roasted peaches filled with amaretti, Panna Cotta or Torta Contadina with roasted fruits and vanilla marscapone.

This promises to be a creative and fun day during which you will enjoy a typical Italian lunch - with a complimentary glass of wine, recipes and lots of ideas to take home with you. 

Please note that children aged 12 to 16 are welcome to attend and participate in any of our classes at the full cost of a place, but they MUST each be accompanied by one paying adult.

We invite you to join us at 9.30am for coffee where you will meet other class members and your chef. We will talk you through the class menu and how the day will run before you move through to our purpose designed kitchen, surrounded by the beautiful Oast gardens. With small classes of around 8 people, the step-by-step tuition is fun and easy to follow as you are supported by the Cookery Studio team.
