Just Desserts: Puddings & Desserts to Die For....

Many cooks find the making of desserts 'just that bit difficult' and 'pudding' can sometimes be an after-thought. We aim to show you just how delectable desserts can be.... from a delicate pastry, a wobbly 'creme' to a tangy tart, you will be guided through the various cooking techniques and exquisite flavours which make "desserts to die for''....

FULLY BOOKAs a sample menu, you will:

  • use seasonal fruits / nuts, with pastry and creme patissiere or a flavoured chocolate ganache, to create your very own 'signature' tart.
  • discover the simplicity of making an 'infused' cream dessert, using gelatine, such as a vanilla yogurt terrine served with a coulis
  • create the ultimate mousse au chocolate, served with praline.
  • Learn the techniques of decoration to give 'style & a wow factor' to your desserts

 This promises to be a seriously fun and exciting course. The Cookery Studio team is very excited about this day class, and we hope that you and a friend will come to join us for this new venture!

Please note that children aged 12 to 16 are welcome to attend and participate in any of our classes at the full cost of a place, but they MUST be accompanied by one paying adult.

We invite you to join us at 9.30am for coffee where you will meet other class members and your chef. We will talk you through the class menu and how the day will run before you move through to our purpose designed kitchen, surrounded by the beautiful Oast gardens. With small classes of around 8 people, the step-by-step tuition is fun and easy to follow as you are supported by the Cookery Studio team.
