Our creative and contemporary approach to preparing vegetarian dishes is popular for those wishing to improve their vegetarian cooking skills using seasonal ingredients. It also suits those of you opting for healthy, balanced meat-free dishes with a modern style. This seasonal menu might also suit those looking for meat-free Christmas dishes.

Our vegetarian dishes are guaranteed to be a hit with those who enjoy fresh, seasonal foods, carefully cooked. Whether you wish to improve your vegetarian cooking or learn to cook some healthy, balanced meat-free dishes, we will teach you the skills to produce seasonal, mouth-watering meals with a modern touch and attractive presentation.

A sample Vegetarian Menu from the Cookery Studio: 

  • Spiced Celeriac and Celery Soup
  • Goats Cheese and 'slow' Caramelised Onion Tartlets with Sage
  • Fennel Salad Spiced with Winter Citrus Fruits and Apple Vinaigrette 
  • Pecan and Maple Syrup Puddings served with Caramel Toffee Sauce or Seasonal fruits Roasted with winter Spices  served Brulee-style
  • Baby Potted Cheeses - delicious with Nuts and Celery 

Additional features of this course will include advice on a healthy and nutritional diet as well as the use of key knife skills.

We invite you to join us at 9.30am for coffee where you will meet other class members and your chef. We will talk you through the class menu and how the day will run before you move through to our purpose designed kitchen, surrounded by the beautiful Oast gardens. With small classes of around 8 people, the step-by-step tuition is fun and easy to follow as you are supported by the Cookery Studio team. At the end of cooking you will be able to dine - with a glass of wine - and enjoy the dishes you have prepared. You will receive a recipe booklet to take away with you. Please note that the dishes listed on this course may vary due to the availability of fresh produce as a result of seasonal changes & availability.
